Land of Legends Golden Legend Fables: Valeria & the Yeti (Land of Legends)
The Story: When a quiet, nervous yeti, who has lost his family, and who is scared of human beings, that lives in the mountain forest is trapped by some human hunters and sold to a cruel circus owner, his life seems destined to become a dismal performance living at the mercy of the cruel circus owner who whips him for thrills. However, one day, the yeti saves a kind little girl, Valeria from a neighbouring lion's cage and so, she promises to come back one day to help him. Since the circus visits the same places every year, it returns to the town the following year and Valeria, who at times herds goats in the nearby mountains to help her father, helps the yeti to escape and then she hides him in the mountains where she teaches the yeti how to stand up for himself and in return, he teaches her how to find healing fruits in the forest mountains to help the townspeople which also helps her family who are quite poor and provides them with some additional income. Later that year, when some robbers attack the town, and capture a family, the yeti, whose courage has now grown, rises to the townspeople's cries, scares the robbers away and saves some of the townspeople and from that moment on, the yeti no longer has to hide because the townspeople start to look out for the yeti and the yeti looks out for them as he finds a human friend in Valeria and a community family that accepts and appreciates him for who he is.
