The Broken Toys Heroes Crew & the Christmas Puzzle Gifts

Logline: When a sack of Christmas presents are found in a dumpster along with an emergency asthma inhaler that has been found in a stolen handbag, the Broken Toys Heroes Crew have to follow a Christmas trail to solve the puzzle of who the asthma inhaler and gifts should be given too but there is not much help to found because there is no identification and the Christmas presents are resting in preparation for their big debut on Christmas morning, the community centre they came from only houses some unhelpful Christmas decorations and a Christmas tree with an attitude and the young man that lives next door who pops in due to the commotion doesn’t seem to want to help.  Written by Jill Thrussell

The Story: When a bunch of forgotten and lost Christmas presents that were supposed to be given away at a Community Christmas Party are found in a dumpster by a Finder Saver along with an emergency asthma inhaler from a stolen handbag, the Broken Toy Heroes Crew must find a way to find the owner and to deliver the presents all by Christmas morning to the correct adult and children.  Since the asthma inhaler and handbag had no identification and none of the Christmas gifts were given any labels, some of the presents are unsure or have forgotten what toy or gift is inside their wrapping which further adds to the puzzle and because most of the toys inside their wrapping are fast asleep, so that they can rest before their big Christmas day morning debut, not much help is on offer.  Unfortunately, once the Broken Toy Heroes Crew find the correct community centre that the Christmas presents came from, the only living objects or toys that seems to be around to assist them are a Christmas tree angel with broken wings and a broken halo, some rowdy Christmas decorations with an attitude, a Christmas tree that doesn’t like decorations or lights and a bunch of empty stockings that are on strike because they haven't been filled and so they must wade through the chaos to find some answers since Santa is far too busy to assist as he attends to his usual Christmas present deliveries.

Suddenly however, a reluctant eight-year-old boy shows up whose mother works for the community centre and who lives in the adjacent house that discovers their visit due to the noise, but he doesn't seem to want to participate in Christmas or help because he is always quite naughty, has an unhelpful attitude and isn't doing well at school and so he doesn't usually get any presents.  So, before Christmas morning is spoilt, the Broken Toys Heroes Crew have to find a way to convince him to assist them in their quest to track down the owner of the asthma inhaler and must help him to follow the trail of goodness in his heart via the delivery of the Christmas gifts, so that he discovers his own ability to be great at being good in order to become a true Christmas Hero and to help the community that he lives in.  Written by Jill Thrussell
