Season 1: When a mature, professional woman, who is a life coach and therapist in her late forties/early fifties, who also performs comedy sketch cheer up performances for a local charity, has the opportunity to adopt three children, who come from the same adolescent unit, since love has not given her the smoothest journey and the biological clock has gone far beyond the years of durability, she faces a crossroads and an uncertain junction in life but her father promises to assist her unconventional family unit every step of the way.  The three children comprise of a chaotic, dramatic teenage environmental activist and a budding performer (actor/actress & singer) that is also an animal lover that rescues animals whether they like it or not that starts to foster animals for owners in need and creates a pet/animal sanctuary for injured/unwanted found animals in the back garden who also aspires to be a vet, another a hopeful young male athlete in training that is part of a science tech group that also plays three different instruments who forms/joins a boy band that are hopeless and can't harmonise musically or synchronise physically (dance moves) and an eleven year old who lives with cerebral palsy that likes cleaning, order and structure who is an organized lawyer in the making and who can draw amazingly funny caricatures.  However, the three must band together to create a compelling case in support of their adoption via a performance to convince her to adopt them all together because she is uncertain that three new permanent family fixtures in her home will be feasible since she was only intending to adopt one child.  In the background of that family unit and family dynamic there is also the odd job man and a male caseworker that often pop up to lend a hand but who are constantly under the scrutiny of the three children to ensure that their intentions towards their adoptive mother are honourable.   Written by Jill Thrussell
